The Water Gardens at Gooderstone:

An enchanting and peaceful water garden set in the middle of nowhere just over 25 minutes drive from West Heath Barn. Created in 1970 by a retired farmer who was looking for a purpose for his saturated meadows, the Water Gardens are now a haven for plant lovers, bird watchers and those seeking a tranquil escape from the busyness of the Norfolk coast.  If you’re patient you’ll spot the kingfishers around the ponds and streams, and the place is alive with butterflies and dragonflies in a wide array of colours. It’s truly beautiful. And if that isn’t enough, the tea-room is delight offering a huge range of delicious homemade cakes and there’s a plant stall too selling lovely healthy plants at incredibly low prices. What is not to love – an absolute delight for the nature lover. See here for more info.
