Peddars Way:
This is probably the least well known of 15 National Trails but is a hidden gem linking Suffolk to the Norfolk Coast Path via a 46 mile stretch of gently undulating pathway. It works its way through The Brecks, a unique area of forest, heath and low river valleys, to meet with the North Norfolk Coast Path at Holme-next-the-sea. The route starts at Knettishall Heath Country Park just outside Thetford and follows the route of a Roman road to meet the Coast Path as it runs from Hunstanton to Cromer.
The Trail provides 93 miles (150 Km) of walking through fantastic scenery and landscape. For more details visit the National Trails website here .
Peddars Way passes just 200 metres from West Heath Barn making it the ideal overnight stopover for weary walkers and cyclists.
