The Old Town Beach Cafe (aka Lifeboat Station Cafe)

We love this place! After a bracing (or maybe just breezy) walk on Hunstanton beach, make sure you allow enough time to stop off at the cafe directly opposite the RNLI lifeboat station in Old Hunstanton. This is an absolute gem and a truly a dog-friendly café (dogs allowed both inside and out no matter how busy and home-made dog biscuits too).

It’s quite brilliant at catering for vegans and gluten free diets but don’t assume it’s all healthy/worthy eating here. Their all-day breakfast are fab, there’s a huge range of stock favourites (I recommend the ham, egg and chips …. unarguably the best in Norfolk) and an appetising children’s menu including popular stuff like marmite, peanut butter and Nutella sandwiches. Visit on a Sunday morning and you can watch the RNLI practice drills starting at 9am. And if that’s not enough, the prices are amazing too. You leave here with your stomach full but your pockets aren’t empty!   For more info see their facebook page
