Just 10 minutes from West Heath Barn you can feast your eyes on an amazing blaze of colour at Tulips for Tapping, a spectacular fund raising event which last year raised over £140,000 for the local hospice and in 2024 they aim to do even better. Tickets go on sale on Monday 8^th April at 10am and the event will run from Thursday 18^th to Monday 29^th  April.

It offers a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the start of Spring by walking through working tulip fields. In 2023 there were reportedly 14 million tulips which produced an explosion of colour. Come summer they are harvested and sold as bulbs but for one year only they offer a rare and stunning floral rainbow which is a delight to behold.
